Florist went to Amber Farming Company as a stock sire to be used in the Mymms herd.
EBV data of AA26 beef value and muscling score of +0.6 put Florist in the top 10% range of Signet recorded Aberdeen-Angus (Dec 2000 Beef Breeder report).
At Perth 2002, a Florist son, got by A.I, weighing 632kg at 373 days, sold for 3500 guineas.
Florist's pedigree has some of the best Canadian and American bloodlines going back, on his dam's side, to the famous Southolm herd in Canada and the Hoff herd in the United States, and on his sire's side, to the Canadian G V and Coldstream herds. We thought so much of Florist that we took semen from him.
